I betcha BC Premier Glen Clark has been laughing, silently, at Kevin Falcon's choice of 'BCUP' because ....

the acronym has failed twice, now.

Dear British Columbians,

On behalf of the members of B.C.'s Unity Panel, we are pleased to submit our "Report on the Calgary Declaration" in response to the Terms of Reference assigned to us by Premier Glen Clark.

B.C.'s Unity Panel, consisting of private citizens and elected officials, embarked on the most extensive consultation process on national unity in our province's history.

The Panel sought the opinions of British Columbians and heard concerns on other issues deemed important to national unity.

British Columbians told us that they are passionate about the future of our country and appreciate the opportunity to express their views and opinions on national unity.  Regarding the Calgary Declaration, the responses we collected through our consultations show strong support for the document and its seven principles.
