VSB and Sannich School Trustees: Unsustainable out of balance with Sustainable

Vancouver and Saanich School Trustees take a stand
Oxymoron

What's the purpose, if the schools are underfunded by the BC Liberal Government?

In my opinion the purpose of school boards these days is to take on all the responsibility but have none of the authority. they have to figure it all out but without the ability to raise taxes or adjust their budgets. It puts the B.C. Lieberals at arms length from the problem and they just blame the school boards which in the end, so do most parents.

Its a squeeze to get the VSB to sell the most valuable land in the City of Vancouver to Christy's developer friends. Other school boards have been selling off their schools, which is the dumbest thing to do. In 50 years all of those buildings and land will be required again simply because the population will increase. The B.C. Lieberals are forcing school boards to sell out heritage.

On the other hand a lot of those parents voted B.C. Lieberal and now they can live with the results.

For many education just isn't a priority.

they can import the next crop of workers from some other country which is educating their students. why educate Canadian kids. they can live in homeless camps. Its good enough for many of the kids to day.

if school boards really cared about education, they would all resign in mass as a protest regarding the under funding of our schools. Let the B.C. Lieberals figure it out and perhaps some of the parents will get off their arses and do something.

The purpose of the "Sustainable Schools BPG" has nothing to do with sustainability in the least. It is more about indoctrination of our children to become good little comrades. "We" not "me". Make them hate the capitalist system, etc. Just read the guide, again. The earmarks of Marxism are all there. Whether they actually achieve any of those sustainability goals, due to a lack of funds, is not the point.

It is really all about "System Change. Not Climate Change" (nor sustainability)

Just follow the dots:
