ElectionBC's FRPC makes mistakes? Donations accepted for 2103 BC Liberals Mike de Jong and Bill Bennett

ElectionsBC never makes a mistake, they are detailed in every aspect of their mandate right down to counting the spaces in the HST application, therefore it should come as surprise to find inputting errors when it comes to dates of contributions.

2103?????  Click Twice on the DATE column
It would appear that ElectionsBC allows contributions to political parties 90 years in advance. Has the BC Liberal Party cashed the cheque or does it have to sit on it until the Spring of 2103?

How about the instances of misspelling last names which creates the problem that ElectionsBC then has 'two people's' totals when in fact there is only one ... person.  Do they even know?

Example of a Fentanyl overdose: BC Solicitor Minister Mike Morris is about to explain the differences between "Civil Gorteiture and Forfeiture Crime and Remediation Grants"

Hey Mike shouldn't it be Forfeiture ... Capital 'F' and Lower case 'f'

               and not Capital 'G' and lower case 't'

Civil Gorteiture Crime Prevention and Remediation Grants

2012/2013

The BC Liberal government paid the B.C. Lions, a professional football club, to do community work dealing with bullying in 2013, and then boosted the Lions grant money to $40,000 for 2015 by Coralee Oakes.

RCMP Fentanyl Pill Presser raids not mentioned by West Kelowna MLA Christy Clark baliwick Dec. 2015 - March 2016. Why did she wait until late November 2016?

On December 12, 2015 the RCMP were advised by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) of the interception of a package being imported from overseas which contained a piece of pharmaceutical equipment. The package was destined for a location in West Kelowna addressed to a man known to police.

West Kelowna is Premier Christy Clark's riding.
March 2nd, 2016 the RCMP executed a search warrant at a commercial property in the 2600 block of Auburn Crescent with the assistance of the RCMP’s Federal Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR), the West Kelowna Fire Department and the BC Ambulance Service.

No mention by the Press (news media) of the influx of Fentanyl to Kelowna or Vernon or Kamloops.

Last week Premier Christy Clark stood on the Press' Pill soapbox to alert the public to the hotbeds of Fentanyl use at both Masset and Vancouver.  Turns out she was wrong.

Two days later, Solicitor Minister, ex-RCMP officer, Mike Morris went to the defense of his Leader, denying that the Premier was at fault because the two police forces had made errors.  (No Proof)

Last year there was a Major Fentanyl bust in the West Kelowna riding.

A search warrant was also executed at a rural property in the 700 block of Petterson Road in West Kelowna:
  • An estimated 800 fake OxyContin pills suspected to be laced with Fentanyl;
  • Several gold bars, which police suspect may be related to a reported theft.

Fentanyl West Kelowna raid
The Kelowna RCMP SEU have also been successful in shutting down other similar illegal drug operations throughout the Kelowna Region over the past few months:
  • File #2015-61383 On November 2, 2015 the Kelowna RCMP SEU intercepted an imported package destined for an address in the 1500 block of Pandosy Street in Kelowna. The package contained 24.5 grams of Fentanyl;
  • File #2015-68300 On December 17, 2015 the Kelowna RCMP SEU executed a search warrant at the property located in the 400 block of Neave Court (Just south of UBC)in Kelowna. The search yielded an industrial grade pill press, which investigators say showed signs of use as it was believed to be heavily contaminated with Fentanyl, and a loaded firearm. As a result of this investigation a 22-year-old Kelowna woman and a 28-year-old West Kelowna man each face potential charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of importing a schedule six substance, production for the purpose of trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession and unsafe storage of a firearm;
  • File #2016-5357 On March 2nd, 2016 the Kelowna RCMP SEU executed a search warrant at a property located in the 11000 block of Cemetary Road in Lake Country, as well as another at a property in the 300 block of Sandpiper Road in Kelowna. These searches yielded various amounts and types of illegal drugs, several firearms, including a loaded .45 calibre hand gun, multiple stolen bicycles and a set of brass knuckles. A 56-year-old Lake Country man faces potential charges of trafficking in a controlled substance as well as a firearms related offence;

The Premier's Fentanyl pill pushing constituents are killing off other constituents (British Columbia) and she does absolutely nothing.  No Press releases, no Press, No Government News, No Health Minister, No Solicitor General, and No Pamela Martin to intercede on her behalf.

Nothing until downtown Masset shows on on the (HST) radar screen along with Vancouver, and the towns police forces got it wrong.  Blame the Messengers.

Has BC Chief Electoral Officer Keith Archer COUNTED the WORDS and SPACES in the third version of the Fire and Police bargaining petition to include Paramedics?

Counting the words???  HST Initiative test covered by RossK at The Gazetteer

Counter of words and Spaces   Temp. Chief Electoral Officer ... James Craig

Application Approved for Initiative Petition to Amend the Fire and Police Services Collective Bargaining Act  November 10, 2016

BC's Chief Electoral Officer, Keith Archer, has granted approval in principle on an initiative petition application.  The petition will be issued to proponent Joshua Henshaw on Monday, January 9, 2017.  The title of the initiative to amend the Fire and Police Services Collective Bargaining Act.

"This initiative petition application is the tenth to be approved since the legislation came into force in 1995", says Archer.

Any registered voter can apply to have a petition issued to gather support for a legislative proposal.  After the petition is issued, the proponent will have 90 days to canvass and collect signatures of at least 10% of the registered voters in each of British Columbia's 85 electoral districts.

Individuals or organizations who intend to oppose the initiative, conduct initiative advertising, or canvass for signatures must be registered with Elections BC.  The deadline to apply to be an opponent of the iniative is Monday, December 12, 2016.

 Summary of Legislative Proposal Initiative

The draft Bill proposes to amend the Fire and Police Services Collective Bargaining Act (the Act) to give ambulance paramedics the same collective bargaining rights as firefighters and police officers.  The draft Bill would retitle the Act to the Ambulance, Fire and Police Services Collective Bargaining Act, change the definition of 'employer' under the Act to include employer of paramedics' union, and define 'paramedics union' as a bargain in unit in which the majority of employees are engaged in ambulance paramedic duties.  The draft Bill would also remove the right of ambulance paramedics to strike and the right of their employer to lockout during an impasse in collective bargaining, and would require resolution of the impasse through binding arbitrations.  Consequently, the draft Bill would remove the paramedics' union as a bargaining unit under the Health Authorities Act.

Why is Senator Richard Neufeld, a former BC Liberal MLA, the only Senator to complain about the use of the word 'Bitches'?

In the Senate Chamber, Canada’s 105 senators take part in formal debate on current affairs. Here, senators’ main job is to examine bills proposed by the Government. Bills in the Senate go through a similar process of debate as in the House of Commons, and a bill must pass the Senate before it can become law. Any senator may take part in the debate on a bill and propose amendments. In addition, senators may propose their own bills and initiate debates in the Chamber.

Senators also work in committees, groups of 5 to 15 senators who focus on a specific policy area. These committees closely study bills sent to them by the Senate, calling witnesses to help them understand the legislation and its potential impact. Committees also conduct longer-term studies on topics in their area of interest.
