The Chevron Exercise: Why the Canadian Coast Guard did NOT rush to English Bay's aid: Bigger fish to fry in oil


The reason that the Conservative Government did not send in a large contingent of the Coast Guard to clean up the English Bay oil spill? There are worse case documented scenarios, code named:

If there were a major spill off the coast of British Columbia, Vancouver Island would be the hardest hit?  One may only hope that the powers to be in Ottawa and Victoria have covered the whole of British Columbia's coast on the sensitivity rating Oiling Bunker C and Diesel fuel on our shorelines.
