In the Province newspaper, this morning, Page A28, bottom right corner, there's this:
"Jim Shepard, a senior policy adviser in the Christy Clark government, is leaving the premier's office to for a citizen's group dedicated to electing Clark in 2013."
Snip
"It was at last year's Premier Dinner that Clark announced that Shepard, 73, would be joining her office as an adviser. His remuneration was set at $1 per year."
If there are any other seniors out there, or Teetotalers as Christy likes to call them, us, AND you're not eligible, because of fitness to serve in the Canadian Armed forces, then by all means volunteer to serve Christy Clark because her only requirement is that you will be paid One Dollar per year (for ONE year only)(such a deal), and in exchange you'll see the world for FREE.
All travel expenses will be picked up by BC Taxpayers.
After serving that one year, it will have cost nothing to Travel AND you will be One Dollar richer. You will have been to China, India, and Japan for FREE. You will have rubbed elbows with the mightiest political players in the Province of British Columbia, and claim later that you were in the midst of the political economic Giant power brokers of Asia, China, India and Japan in 2011.

Seeing as how the list above is an image, here's the complete list:
Premier's Office
Christy Clark, Gabriel Garfinkel, Jim Shepard, Barinder Bhullar, Dana Hayden, Mar-Andre Ouellette, Marisa Adair, Kyle Surovy;
Ministry of Jobs, Tourism & Innovation Participants
Shom Sen, Marcus Ewert-Johns, Micael Nicholas, Henry Han, Edwina Ramirez, Amardeep Gill, Leslie Wada.
NOTE: if you change the search criteria in the link for eg. Shom Sen to IMAGES...... first up is a look-alike photo to Sir Richard Branson......
And the list above, in regards to what is on the document called JTI-2011-00143, there's not a hint of Jim Shepard or others in the Premier's portion.... that requires searching through all of the FOI requests. The BBC has seen Jim Shepard's travel expenses, but who would have thought that with a year to go before the Next Provincial Election, Mr. Shepard would be jumping ship, losing out on his One Dollar per Year, or more importantly any other trips around the world with all TRAVEL expenses FREE.
