The dip????....

The Index Page for the BC Government: "Risk Management Branch at RISK" where the BC Liberals came on the scene in 2001, and if one were to use LOGS as a barometer against jobs being lost OVERSEAS, well now, no wonder China is doing so well, at our expense!

Vol. 20 no.1 Spring/Summer

Page 3:

"We were well into the 2nd year of a global economic crisis, the BC government went from a $4 Billion budget SURPLUS in 2006/2007 to a budget deficit of $2.7 Billion - (Election in May to June to HST Decision 2009)"

Eight (8) consecutive years in growth of JOBS in BC, under the NDP, and then they lost the election to the BC Liberals who promised NOT to SELL BC Rail, and then they did.  Logs remaining in BC created local jobs.  Logs EXPORTED to China CUTS jobs in BC.

The BC Liberal's Budgets had a $6.7 Billion drop in revenue to the bottom in May election of 2009, and then a further drop till the HST kicked in officially.  Then off went the sales to China, JOBS locally died on the vine.
