Smart Meters: Energy Minister Rich Coleman, read the news today on the warm winter of 2011/2012

Energy Minister Coleman continues to stand up in the Legislature to NOT answers questions during Question Period, but to DEFEND his Smart Meter spiking results because of a COLD winter.

Got NEWS for you Coleman, its official:

"Virtually all of the country was above normal, with most of the Prairie provinces experiencing temperatures more than 6 degrees above normal," Environment Canada's climate science team says in its winter bulletin posted online Monday. Small areas of the British Columbia and Labrador coasts and northern Nunavut had the closest to normal temperatures.  Vancouver Sun

Small areas of BC had the closest to normal temperatures, which doesn't mean they were cold, they were normal.

=============================

One other point Coleman, as you swagger yourself into a standing position to respond to a genuine Question from the Opposition, then after winding your mouth up to give some semblance of an answer, you rapid fire answer......reaching a crescendo........!

STOP your winking Man.  One to the Speaker, one to your Comrade Premier, is not appreciated.

You may think your smart ass answers are funny, viewers at home, take it for exactly as you make it out to be when hard on the heels you include a Wink:

Definition of a     wink/wiNGk/
Verb:
Close and open one eye quickly, typically to indicate that something is a joke or a secret or as a signal of affection or greeting.

Noun:
An act of closing and opening one eye quickly, typically as a signal

If you can't answer the Questions, do as Christy Clark often does, sidestep and let another Minister speak, one who is far more eloquent than you have been able to muster since Clark became Premier.  Clark is having an adverse effect on your once mighty capabilities when they were controlled, restrained, under Campbell.

NVG,

"One other point Coleman, as you swagger yourself into a standing position"

Did you mean to say instead of 'swagger" stagger and stumble? Just jokin' swagger was good too!

By the way, good point comparing Dix's "ohso" bad memo moment with the minor side deal six million dollar bribe to the brown guys and their lawyers.

Kind of odd, that Coleman is the Minister of "Energy" rather than the lean and mean (slender) Minister of Education porfolio.

As to latest rewriting of a memo, could it be that the Courts, eg Madame Justice Anne McKenzie will step into the fray because she will now have discovered that she was as hoodwinked as the public for not being kept abreast of the true reasons as to why Basi and Virk pleaded Guilty.

Maybe the MSM should seek out a quote from the Judge.

Good luck with that, as far as I can tell one can't even find a slim C.V. or an indication of if and where she studied law. Once she replaced Bennett, it was like Campbell, the Ferret and the rest had their own lawyer, sitting on the bench!

Kootcoot, I found this, and put a link to Anne MacKenzie as a comment on BC Mary's back on September 4, 2010

Jeez grumps, thanks, I shoulda known if anyone could ferret it out, it would be yourself. You must recall how frustrated Mary and I and others were at the time when Bennett was removed, it seemed as difficult to find info on Annie Mack as the Lurid Lara!

You have to admit, usually lawyers like politicians, brag their accomplishments and credentials far and wide as possible.

If I was a politician I would try to engage you, professionally, as my opposition research chief.
